In this episode we laugh the whole time we make fun of commercialism with fake commercials!  We also get help from the talented kids of the Quail Hollow Homeschool program and Quail Hollow Integrated Arts program.  Have funny!

As a special episode for the Spring Pledge drive for KBCZ we cook up comedy in our Invention Room and bring you a Greatest Novelty Hits from the last 100 years, from Spike Jones to Monty Python.

We explore the role of music in movies, focusing on songs written specifically for films with lyrics too.  We also talk with Mattie Scariot of Poppy Jasper International Film Festival about the upcoming drive-in movie festival with the move "The Biggest Little Farm" that focused on a unique organic permaculture farm north of Los Angeles and their struggles to continue in harmony with nature.

Something's missing from this episode of It's the Way of Love!  Live!  We explore the process of recording and examine isolated tracks from some of the best songs of the best bands of all time, including the Beatles, the Who, Fleetwood Mac, Marvin Gaye, and many others!  Even some standup comedy about silent letters!

This started out as a tribute with trombones for my trombonist in the Shakeshifters, Anthony Crawley.  Midway through, I learned our stage union brother Jake Hurd had died, and it became about him too.  I've never cried on air before.  Rest in Peace, Anthony and Jake.
